BOARD OF HEALTH OF THE TOWNSHIP MONROE

 

All regular business that was scheduled to be conducted at the Board of Health Reorganization Meeting will be broadcasted live via Zoom Meeting.  You may access the meeting via URL by downloading the Zoom Meeting App or visiting the following website:

Be advised that members of the public can participate in said meeting by submitting comments by email to the Board of Health Secretary, Vicki Taylor-Machulsky, at vmachulsky@monroetownshipnj.org by 3:00PM the day of the meeting, January 12, 2022.  The comments should be limited to 250 words.  These comments will be read into the record by the Commission Chairperson during the public comment period.

Residents can view the meeting as detailed above.  The Board of Health will hold this meeting via online meeting forum and will not be in-person.

General Election Early Voting – October 23, 2021 thru October 31, 2021 – Monroe Township Public Library

Early Voting in New Jersey is here!

 

Earlier this year, historic legislation (S3203) established in-person early voting in New Jersey. This law makes our state even more voter-friendly and strengthens our democracy by expanding opportunities to exercise your right to vote. This new option allows registered voters to cast their ballot in person, using a voting machine, during a nine-day period prior to Election Day. You can now choose to vote, in person, when it is most convenient for your schedule.

Gloucester County will provide registered voters with this option for the November 2, 2021 General Election. Gloucester County will have five (5) in-person early voting locations (see below) that will be open Saturday, October 23, 2021 through Sunday, October 31, 2021. Hours will be Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

The Council of the Township of Monroe will hold a Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 6:00PM in the Court Room of the Municipal Complex located at 125 Virginia Avenue, Williamstown, New Jersey 08094.  The purpose of this Special Council Meeting is to conduct the Public Hearing for the 2021 Municipal Budget.  Action will be taken.
