*If paying by check, including Bill Pay checks from your Banking Institution, please identify the property the payment is intended for. You may use the Block/Lot/Qualifier Number, the Current Tax Account Number or the Property Location. This information is located in the top left section of the Bill. Keep in mind when submitting your payment to allow enough time to be delivered by the due date. We suggest at least 7-10 days. Checks that do not have property identifiers will be sent back to the address on the check and may be subject to additional fees.

Annual deduction of up to $250 from property taxes for homeowners age 65 or older or disabled who meet certain income and residency requirements. This benefit is administered by the local municipality.
Annual deduction of up to $250 from property taxes for qualified war veterans and their unmarried surviving spouses/surviving civil union partners/surviving domestic partners. This benefit is administered by the local municipality.
Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans Application
Full exemption from property taxes on a principal residence for a 100% totally and permanently disabled war veterans and their unmarried surviving spouses/surviving civil union partners/surviving domestic partners. Unmarried surviving spouses/surviving civil union partners/surviving domestic partners of serviceperson who died on wartime active duty may also qualify. This benefit is administered by the county assessor after verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs for the 100% permanent disability.

The Gloucester County Office of Veterans Affairs, through an attorney, provides free simple wills to active military personnel and veterans who served in active duty, other than for training, and were honorably discharged. This program is for Gloucester County residents 59 years of age or younger.
