  • Property Taxes are due quarterly: February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1           
  • Note: Each quarter is granted a 10-day grace period from and including the 1st.  If the 10th day falls on a holiday or weekend, it is extended to the next business day.

Sign up for an email reminder that property taxes are due. Emails will be sent 14 days in advance of the February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1 tax quarters.
You will receive an email to approve your subscription. You must confirm to receive Tax Reminder Emails. 

          Convenient Ways to pay your bill (We do not accept postmarks)

  • Drop box inside Town Hall located next to the Tax Collector’s Office
  • Drop box outside Town Hall at the main entrance on Virginia Avenue
  • Mail your payment to the Tax Office
  • In Person at the Tax Office (debit/credit card payments are now accepted in office)
  • Bill Pay thru your personal bank (allow 7-10 days for payment to reach office)
  • Online thru this website (click link provided below) You can now schedule AutoPay for the (4) quarterly payments thru this link
  • For all check payments including bill pay thru your bank, please identify the property the payment is intended for.  You may use the Block/Lot/Qualifier, the Current Tax Account Number or the Property Location. This information is located on your tax bill. We do not accept postmarks. Checks that do not have property identifiers will be sent back to the address on the check and may be subject to additional fees.

Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans Application
Full exemption from property taxes on a principal residence for a 100% totally and permanently disabled war veterans and their unmarried surviving spouses/surviving civil union partners/surviving domestic partners. Unmarried surviving spouses/surviving civil union partners/surviving domestic partners of serviceperson who died on wartime active duty may also qualify.
