The function of the Finance Department is a service to facilitate interaction between the Mayor, Township Council, Business Administrator, other Township departments and the division within the Finance Department. The Chief Financial Officer supervises all financial functions of the Township, as well as many other support services, including Accounting, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Banking, Risk Management, Management Information Services, Payroll, Purchasing, and Bonding issues. The Finance Department deals with the public regarding utility bills, accounts payable, and municipal bonds. It is also primarily responsible for the administration of the Township’s defined contribution pension plans.
