PUBLIC NOTICE

Accepting Towing Applications

Pursuant to the adoption of Amendments to Chapter 262 of the Code of the Township of

Monroe entitled “Towing”, applications for qualified towers shall be submitted for the

2017-2019 tow list no later than May 1, 2017 to the Township Clerk, Township of Monroe

at its offices at 125 Virginia Avenue, Williamstown, NJ 08094.

The purpose of this notice is to solicit interest for up to seven (7) qualified towers to

provide towing services on behalf of the Township of Monroe for a two year period

commencing July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019. Qualified towers will be selected

through a competitive, quality-based, fair and open process, conditions, and services with

any or all companies responding to the request. The Township permitted by law, and

may at its sole discretion decide not to proceed at all or to proceed with a portion of the

work. The Township reserves the right to interview any or all applicants. Those towers

who were previously on the list who qualify under the amended Ordinance shall be given

priority over any new applicants.
